Inaugural Law Enforcement Torch Run Guardian Games

On November 16 & 17, Albuquerque Police Department and Albuquerque Fire Rescue will host the inaugural Law Enforcement Torch Run “Guardian Games,” benefitting Special Olympics New Mexico. The Guardian Games will take place on Civic Plaza and are presented by Mark’s Casa and sponsored by eD FM.

Saturday, November 16 – Unified Games, food trucks, Public Safety Experience, and more

Sunday, November 17 – 5k and 1 mile fun walk, followed by the Battle of the Badges – APD vs AFR

The Guardian Games objective is to build an inclusive community and develop a closer relationship between Special Olympics athletes, public safety officers, and Albuquerque businesses while bringing Albuquerque families to meet and greet with first responders through a fun and unique format.
