On Saturday (November 1), on the one-year anniversary of the release of their recent album, Songs of a Lost World, The Cure announced the upcoming release of The Show of a Lost World , a 4K remixed, recut, and remastered concert film capturing their full 31-song performance at London’s Troxy on November 1, 2024. Directed by Nick Wickham and mixed by frontman Robert Smith, the film features a run through of the entire new album alongside an array of Cure classics. Set to premiere in select cinemas worldwide on December 11, 2025, the concert film will later be available on Blu-Ray and DVD, with tickets going on sale November 20 at thecurelostworld.com. “The Cure’s impact cannot be underestimated and this film is a testament to the artistry and depth of their music,” said Trafalgar Releasing CEO Marc Allenby, who is distributing the film. “It’s a pleasure to bring The Show of a Lost World to cinemas globally and give fans everywhere the opportunity to experience together this extraordinary concert on the big screen.” (Consequence of Sound)
